What is Audible?
If you have not yet heard about Audible books, it is a service offered by Amazon that allows you to listen to books through an app on your phone or through your computer. This is the equivalent to books on tapes. You can download the books so you don’t have to pay any data charges on your phone. When you are done with a book you can take it off your phone but it will be saved in your account in case you want to download it again someday. The collection of books is EXTENSIVE!! Some books are read by the author (my preferred method) and some are read by someone else. Some are even read by celebrities. There are adult books, children books and so much more!

My Recommendations
Here is a deal from Amazon to get you started.

Audible Benefits
Audible is pretty awesome because with your monthly fee you get 1 credit to use, plus a discount on all other books. They also have deals where you can get credits for a discounted price. I tend to use my credits on the more expensive books. They have also recently added Amazon originals. Each month they make available about 5 different Amazon Audible original books and you can pick 2 for free. Each one is a different type of book so there is a wide variety. There are also kid’s collections of books that would normally cost $40+ that you can get with your monthly credit or discounted credits. Check it out!
Another feature I really like is that you can return books. If you get a book and you end up not liking it for any reason you can return it and either get a refund or a credit back. It just depends on how it was purchased. I have done this MANY times. If I get a book and notice that I don’t end up listening to it for months or I start and don’t come back then I will return it. It takes away any risk of not liking a book you purchased.

If you are looking for an actual book instead of an audiobook check out BetterWorldBooks. Next to Amazon, it is my favorite place to shop for books. They have used and new books for excellent prices and the shipping is always free!

I started Audible about 6 months ago. It’s made it possible to get through books I normally would take a really long time to finish. A few on my account are Contagious by Jonah Berger, The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown, Present Over Perfect by Shauna Neiquist and now Girl, Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis.
Awesome! Thanks for the recommendations!
